‘Game of Thrones’ Has a New Way to Prevent Season 8 Finale Leaks and It’s Brilliant
After a host of Gregor Clegane-sized season seven Game of Thrones leaks, HBO just announced it has the perfect solution to those pesky hackers.
Casey Bloys, president of programming at HBO, revealed in a speech at Moravian College yesterday that the GoT powers that be will film multiple endings to the hit show in order to throw off hackers and prevent any season eight leaks because—let’s be honest—there’s just too much at stake and no one likes a party pooper.
Bloys stated, “You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”
In the quest for the Iron Throne, all men spoilers must die.
