‘Game of Thrones’ x Adidas Running Shoes Are Here (But Only Two Colors Remain)

With season eight less than three weeks away (hold onto your dragon!), we finally have Game of Thrones-themed sneakers available for purchase.

The highly anticipated GoT x Adidas Ultraboost collab dropped last week, but prepare yourself for heartbreak: Only two colors haven't sold out yet (Lannister and Night's Watch version fans are still in luck...for now).

Yes, it feels all too familiar to lose your favorite character (or shoe style) without so much as an apology. Did George R. R. Martin plan this, you guys?

Back in November, Adidas teased a GoT-themed collection of Ultraboost sneakers, leaked by the Yeezy Mafia Twitter account in July. Two weeks ago, Adidas confirmed the sneakers would be available on March 22. Now, six days later, four of the six total color ways are already sold out.

The collection featured six House-themed pairs in all: two House Targaryen styles (one red and black and one all-white), plus a White Walkers version of white and black with ice-blue details. The other three are a Night's Watch black-and-white pair, House Lannister in red and gold and House Stark in gray and black. Each pair is going for $180 on Adidas.com (but probably fetching much higher for the sold-out versions on Ebay now).

Sneaker collector @solebyjc debuted two of those styles on his Instagram account last year, and we’re digging the little slogan-bearing flag attached to the back (the White Walker one says “Winter is here,” while the House Targaryen ones read “Fire and blood”). 

Thrones-fans will flip for the details, which include GoT-branded insoles as well as the house heel tab and house motifs displayed on the back tongue tags. (Just one question: Are these good for running away from the Night King?)
