Emilia Clarke dazzled the crowd (literally) during her latest public appearance.
Last night, the Game of Thrones star, 33, attended the New York City premiere of her all-new holiday rom-com, Last Christmas. Clarke wore a floor-length purple gown by Valentino, and we’re totally digging the monochromatic color scheme.
The sequined number featured spaghetti straps and an A-line silhouette. Clarke paired the dress with matching purple earrings and heels (natch).
The actress documented the momentous occasion on her personal Instagram account and shared a slideshow of photos, featuring her “red carpet cuddle attack.”
She wrote, “@lastchristmasthemovie not only did you give me an excuse to dress like a Christmas bauble (thank you @maisonvalentino) but you gave me a red carpet cuddle attack with the fiercest most fabulous women in the bizz… (Dame Emma Thompson aka my spirit mamma and @michelleyeoh_official aka my elf task master in couture) but then you give me a winter wonderland sofa to lounge on like the true diva I am? YAS!!!!”
Last Christmas tells the story of a young woman named Kate (Clarke), who works as an elf in a British holiday store. In addition to Clarke, the movie also stars Emma Thompson, Henry Golding and Michelle Yeoh. It will hit theaters on November 8.
