Goulding’s gown was custom made by Chloé’s Natacha Ramsay-Lévi and featured a high-neck, Victorian-style silhouette. The silk double crêpe dress was embroidered with one-of-a-kind details, including White Roses of York and glass beads.
The design reportedly took around 640 hours to make, as PopSugar reports. That estimate doesn’t even include time spent crafting the veil, which took about 591 hours to construct. (Her veil was specially embroidered with “E” and “C” in honor of the bride and groom.)
According to Goulding, it was love at first sight with the Chloé gown. “I have never felt more special than the moment I first tried on the dress during my fitting in Paris,” she said in a statement. “It was utterly awe-inspiring to see the craftsmanship and attention to detail.”
Goulding’s wedding was attended by several familiar faces, including Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Sienna Miller, James Blunt, Karlie Kloss, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson and Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
