Just when we thought Natalie Portman’s all-male director snub was the most awkward (and amazing) moment from the 2018 Golden Globes...this happened.

On yesterday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the daytime host shared a hilarious spoof video of a miscommunication that happened during Sunday night’s awards show.

In the clip, DeGeneres sits next to Oprah Winfrey as Reese Witherspoon presents the Cecil B. DeMille Award. Both women appear touched by the kind words, but it isn’t until Witherspoon mentions the media mogul’s name that DeGeneres realizes the speech is about Oprah, not her.

So, naturally, DeGeneres stuffs a bottle of champagne into her purse before storming out of the awards show.

There’s always next year.
