Dreams do come true! James Corden is heading back to the United Kingdom to take a romantic drive through the English countryside with Ed Sheeran.
Revealed in the Late Late in London teaser released today, Corden and Sheeran will rendezvous in London on Tuesday, June 6, to beautifully duet the Grammy award-winning artist’s hits "Sing" and "Castle on the Hill.”
Sheeran vocalized his mixed feelings about participating in the segment, “I know the whole thing is singing to your tune, but I think I’d feel a bit awkward singing to my song. I want to put on something really awkward and dirty, like Biggie’s song ‘Big Booty Hoes’ or something like that, and just hear James Corden sing along to it." Same, Ed. Same.
In addition to the "Thinking Out Loud" singer, Corden will also sip tea on Late Late London with Kit Harington, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, David Beckham, Emily Blunt and Jennifer Hudson.
The Late Late Show's London installment will last for three episodes over the week of June 5.
