Sure, Drake giving away $1 million in his “God’s Plan” music video was pretty dang spectacular, but his latest release is making us scream, “Yaaasss!”
On Friday, Drake dropped a new song, “Nice for What,” along with a star-studded music video that has all the female star power. (Because why not?)
The clip, which was directed by Karena Evans, features a montage of strong, powerful women from various industries, including actresses Olivia Wilde (Life Itself), Issa Rae (Insecure), Rashida Jones (Parks and Recreation), Tracee Ellis Ross (Black-ish), Yara Shahidi (Grown-ish), Tiffany Haddish (Girls Trip), Zoe Saldana (Avatar), Letitia Wright (Black Panther), Emma Roberts (American Horror Story) and Michelle Rodriguez (Widows).
The video also features ballerina Misty Copeland, singer-songwriter Syd, model Jourdan Dunn, singer Lauryn Hill and twin Instagram stars Elizabeth and Victoria Lejonhjärta.
Yes, Chrissy Teigen is (sadly) MIA, but we have to hand it to Drake for assembling such a badass—and diverse—group of ladies.
Talk about squad goals. (No offense, Taylor Swift.)
