Will Destiny’s Child Reunite at Coachella This Spring? We Investigate
Destiny’s Child fans are convinced that the girl group will reunite at the 2018 Coachella music festival, and their evidence is shockingly convincing.
It all began when the Beyhive started to connect the dots between a series of social media posts. Michelle Williams kicked things off in late October by sharing a photo on her Instagram Story of herself, Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé at the 2013 Super Bowl halftime show.
One month later, O.G. member LaTavia Roberson took to Twitter to tease fans about an exciting announcement.
I have so much to tell you guys! All I'm allowed to say right now is.. never mind. 😊🤐— LaTavia Roberson 🎀 (@IamLaTavia) December 5, 2017
Beyoncé even joined in on the fun and posted a photo of herself posing in an AC/DC T-shirt. The photo might seem pretty ordinary at first, but if you look closely, you’ll notice Bey is covering part of the shirt so it reads “DC.”
Ahem, subtle Destiny’s Child reference? We’ll let you be the judge.
Beyoncé was supposed to headline Coachella in 2017, but she was forced to cancel due to her pregnancy with Sir and Rumi. The “Perfect” singer is already confirmed to perform at the 2018 festival. Will her Destiny’s Child sisters come along for the ride?
After some serious sleuthing, all signs point to yes.
