Demi Moore got to live out every woman’s dream: roasting her ex on national television. Spoiler alert: It was every bit as rewarding as it sounds.
The Empire star was a surprise guest roaster at her ex-husband-turned-bestie Bruce Willis’s Comedy Central Roast on Saturday, and she poked fun at everything from his Die Hard movies to his DNA.
She kicked things off with a yippe ki yay and went straight after Willis’s action star magnum opus. “I was married to Bruce Willis for the first three Die Hard movies, which makes sense, because the last two sucked,” Moore joked.
But that wasn’t all she had up her sleeve after 13 years of marriage and three children. Moore called her daughters—Rumer (29), Scout (26) and Tallulah (24)—“incredibly well-adjusted, considering two of them are half Bruce Willis.” Burn.
On the subject of genetics, Moore also weighed in on their split: “People wondered why our marriage came to an end. I think it’s because some jealousy started to creep in…Bruce never got over the fact that I rocked the bald look better than he did,” she quipped, referencing her 1997 film G.I. Jane.
Bald heads aside, there’s no bad blood between the two. In fact, Moore called him one of her “top three husbands.”
Not bad, Bruce. Not bad.
