Now that Mike Johnson has officially left Bachelor in Paradise, the 31-year-old reality star is eyeing an all-new dating prospect outside the popular franchise: Demi Lovato.

Johnson and the 27-year-old singer are reportedly “getting to know each other,” as E! News reports. According to an inside source, the pair already went on a date, and while things are “going well,” they’re taking it slow unlike the relationships on The Bachelorette.

Dating rumors about Johnson and Lovato have been circulating for the past few weeks, though it appeared to be a strictly digital relationship. It all started when Johnson was still on Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer shared a cheeky post on her Instagram Story and wrote, “Mike I accept your rose.”

Johnson returned the favor just last week when he commented on a risqué photo of Lovato on social media, writing, “Look at me like that again…Love yaself.” The actress responded to his comment with two flirty emojis.

Earlier this year, Johnson sat down for an interview with E! News and revealed that he was flattered when Lovato first called him out on Instagram.

“It made me feel sexy,” he said. “It made me feel good. It’s pretty awesome; it’s pretty cool, I’m not gonna deny it.”

While many fans were rooting for Johnson to lead the upcoming season of The Bachelor, it appears Peter Weber might catch a break.
