Demi Lovato Gave 4 Lyft Drivers the Surprise of a Lifetime
Demi Lovato just made a major difference in four unsuspecting people’s lives.
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer partnered with Lyft to surprise four aspiring-musicians-cum-Lyft-drivers with the tools they need to put their passion center stage.
In honor of reaching $500 million in driver tips, Lyft brought drivers Jarae Womack, Conrad Clyde, Eric Monterrosa and Jermaine Walden to a recording studio to share their experience using Lyft as their side hustle. Each of them (especially Jermaine ) was floored when the Grammy nominee walked in offering a complimentary recording session, two VIP tickets to her “Tell Me You Love Me” tour and the best gift of all: advice on breaking into the music industry.
Paying it forward is a gesture that Lovato holds close to her heart: “It’s always been important for me to use my platform to help and inspire others, and there’s nothing more beautiful than being able to connect with people through music. Giving these talented Lyft drivers the opportunity to continue to make music and encourage them to follow their dreams meant the world to me,” the “Confident” singer said.
It seems that a helping hand from Demi Lovato was just the lyft these musicians needed.
