Daniel Radcliffe, Secret ‘Bachelor’ Fan, Is Worried About Colton

Daniel Radcliffe is a serious actor. He played Harry Potter in eight movies and is a celebrated thespian. Hell, he’s so serious that he even bared it all during his Equus performance on Broadway. So when we learned he’s a Bachelor fan, we were, well, really surprised.

The 29-year-old fessed up to his Bachelor Nation proclivity during his visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live! and admitted he’s worried about this season’s Bachelor, Colton Underwood.

It all started when Kimmel asked Radcliffe if he really believes Underwood is a virgin. “Is that a question? They seem to have talked about the fact that he is a lot,” he retorted. (Accurate.)

He went on to share that he’d been rooting for Elyse, who unexpectedly left the show this week. Kimmel said Cassie is his favorite, and Radcliffe agreed. “I liked Cassie. I thought Cassie was a strong contender.” Liked? Does he know something we don’t?

Favorite contestants aside, the actor got real and explained why he’s nervous for Underwood.

“The thing with people on The Bachelor, like Colton this year, is there have been a couple Bachelors in the past where you’re like, ‘You don’t seem like a good person.’ But [Colton], I think, does, generally. And there are some people on it where you’re like, ‘You’re too nice for this.’ And apparently, he’s gonna hop a fence at some point…I’m just a bit concerned for him, really,” he said.

(For those who aren’t as well versed in The Bachelor as Radcliffe, he’s referencing the strange and emotional moment in the season 23 promo where Underwood hops a very large fence out of nowhere.)

Since when is Radcliffe into reality TV? Well, the Harry Potter star first caught us by surprise with his Bachelor obsession last week on Good Morning America when he admitted he watches the show with his girlfriend religiously.
