‘Dancing with the Stars’ Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy Got Married in an Actual Castle
Dancing with the Stars pros Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are officially married!
The costars, who first began dating in 2012, exchanged vows on Saturday, July 8, in a picturesque ceremony at the gorgeous Oheka Castle in Long Island, New York. Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy’s adorable 6-month-old little boy, Shai Aleksander, presided over the ceremony as the “prince of honor.” (Cue the collective “Awww!”)
Murgatroyd waltzed down the aisle in a jaw-dropping multi-tiered off-the-shoulder ivory ball gown and topped off the grand look with an ornate fitted bodice, a cathedral-length veil and an exquisite tiara.
The couple feted their union in an elegant hall flooded with white flowers alongside fellow DWTS pros and contestants, including Val Chmerkovskiy, Sharna Burgess and Candace Cameron Bure. Noticeably missing was former DWTS pro and costar Julianne Hough, who had her own wedding to attend.
Congrats to the happy couple! May their marriage be even more rewarding than winning the coveted Mirrorball Trophy.
