Ciara Takes After Rihanna & Wears Low-Rise Jeans in ’00s-Inspired Pregnancy Photos
The photos show Ciara wearing an early ’2000s-inspired outfit, including low-rise jeans and a crop top that accentuates her growing belly. The caption read, “CiCi Mama.”
Ciara’s ensemble is reminiscent of a 'fit from Rihanna, who also wore low-rise jeans and a crop top during her first pregnancy. The pictures in question were taken in February 2022, when RiRi was photographed by paparazzi during a night out.
Similar to Ciara, the musician wore jeans with a waistband that hugged her pregnant belly. Rihanna completed the look with a Fendi tie-front top, a vintage duster coat, a camo print trucker hat and a denim Christian Dior saddle bag. (Basically a Y2K dream.)
Earlier this month, Ciara announced that she and Russell Wilson are expecting their third child together. (She also shares a son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with her ex-fiancé Future, making the unborn baby her fourth.) The singer shared a video on Instagram, which was filmed during the couple’s anniversary getaway in Japan. She wrote, “You look at me like that again, we make another kid…You my heart, I’m your rib.”
