Chrissy Teigen Asked Her Twitter Followers to Share Times Their Kids Were Jerks—and We Couldn’t Love Her More
We guess Luna is being a handful? Yesterday, Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to ask her mom followers to share their parenting woes so she wouldn’t feel so alone.
In her own words: “I am having a very rough day and it would help me a lot if any moms would like to share stories of their kids being mean to them.” Oh, honey, we’ve been there.

And so, it seems, have her fans, who responded with honesty doused in humor, sharing everything from stories of their kids knocking their self-confidence to being straight-up evil.
Here, one mom offered her cringe-worthy story of that one time she tried to get dolled up.
My 4 year old son asked me why I was putting on makeup and I said "To make me look pretty." He replied "I don't think it's working."— Chutup (@Chutup) September 23, 2017
Heather Cocks and Jessica Morgan, authors of The Royal We, chimed in with a darker toddler tale.
After rotten long flight from Germany, Dylan saw store whose sign was a 3D car coming out the wall, and said, "I hope it hits you." -H— Heather & Jessica (@fuggirls) September 23, 2017
Another mommy admitted her tot chooses to run a non-inclusive household and refuses to say mama. Rude.
My 13 month old says "dada" but every time I ask "can you say mama?" she looks me in the eyes, says "no" very clearly and then laughs— Emma Span (@emmaspan) September 23, 2017
One mom opened up about her unaffectionate child. We thought that didn’t happen until they started high school.
my one year old son tells me no every time I kiss him 😩— Bee Money (@beeboujee) September 23, 2017
This totally hit home for Teigen, who seems to be struggling with the same issue.
Same except I get an added smack to the face— christine teigen (@chrissyteigen) September 23, 2017
We carry them for nine months, feed, bathe and clothe them, and they turn against us in return. Oh, the joys of motherhood.
