Chrissy Teigen jumped on the pastel hair bandwagon that is seemingly taking over Hollywood this spring. Yup—she’s currently rocking cotton candy pink hair.
On Wednesday night, the 35-year-old model shared a series of photos on her personal Instagram account, featuring her brand-new hairstyle for the warmer weather. The images, which were shared on her Instagram Story, included Teigen rocking long pastel pink locks, both straight and then curly.
And while we originally thought this was a permanent ’do, we quickly realized the look is only temporary. “Best inches in the business, ahhh.” she captioned the post. Teigen also made sure to tag the celebrity hair extensionist, Priscilla Valles, writing, “Also the sweetest.” They’re just pink extensions, people. (We do spy pink creeping up near the roots so mayyyybe temporary dye was also involved? Jury's still out.)
This is the second time this year that we’ve seen the cookbook author sporting this exact hair color. Back in February, the mother of two shared a snap on social media featuring herself, again with pink hair, only this time, it was styled in a half up, half down ’do.
Teigen captioned the post, “Pink!” She also tagged the masterminds behind her new look, including hairstylist Irinel de León, makeup artist Kristine Studden and stylist Alana Van Deraa.
Fans and followers quickly filled the comments section with an appreciation for Teigen’s Fuscia hair. One person wrote, “Living for this and you…per usual.” Another added, “You look like Nicki Minaj’s understudy.”
With this kind of support, we’re not surprised she opted to go pink for a second time.
