Chrissy Teigen Just Officiated Her Daughter Luna’s Stuffed Animal Wedding & John Legend Performed

Families across the nation are coming up with creative ways to keep their kids entertained while stuck at home. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are no different.

Over the weekend, the 34-year-old Cravings author and 41-year-old EGOT winner agreed to host a last-minute lavish home wedding for their 3-year-old daughter Luna’s two favorite stuffed animals, Chloe and Nosh. But, as with many human weddings, Teigen explained on Instagram Stories that the bride was “freaking out,” causing the wedding to run several hours behind. In the meantime, Legend busied himself setting up the aisle, which he fashioned from lava rocks from a fire pit.

Later, as guests started “to trickle in,” Teigen explained that Luna’s stuffed animals were getting ready to create an “everlasting” bond in what she called the “wedding of the century.” Thankfully, she live-streamed the entire thing.

In the video, Teigen called it “a good day for a wedding” and noted that the couple is not registered. Without further ado, Teigen took her place as officiant, her mom scattered flowers like a proper flower girl and little Luna accompanied bride and groom down the aisle. After Teigen read the vows, Legend performed a beautiful a capella version of Selena Gomez’s song “Can’t Keep My Hands to Myself” (while sipping rosé and wearing a plush robe).

Then, Luna’s little brother Miles (1) tried to steal the bride and groom, Luna and Legend mixed cups of sand as a representation of Chloe and Nosh’s new lives together and everyone clapped with joy as the stuffed animals shared their first kiss as husband and wife.

OK, Teigen and Legend deserve some serious parenting brownie points.
