Chris Hemsworth portrays a muscular, hammer-wielding god on the big screen, but in real life, his children are way more interested in Wonder Woman than they are in Thor.
Hemsworth stopped by Good Morning America yesterday and told a hilariously awkward story about his three kids, India (5) and twins Sasha (3) and Tristan (3). When the Thor: Ragnarok actor asked them what they wanted to dress up as for Halloween, their answers were resounding. “At the same time—I’ve got two boys and a little girl—they all said Wonder Woman,” he revealed.
Hemsworth was (understandably) hurt by his children’s response and further pressed them on their superhero preference. He continued, “I said, ‘That’s awesome, but what about Thor?’ At the same time, they went, ‘No.’”
However, their reasoning for favoring Wonder Woman over Thor is totally commendable. He added, “I went, ‘Who’s stronger?’ They said, ‘Wonder Woman.’ I’m happy to play second to Wonder Woman.”
Amen. At least he didn’t find himself in a Kristen Bell Halloween costume situation.
