This brand-new trailer for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part Two is grabbing our attention for all the right reasons.
Netflix just dropped a teaser for the highly anticipated second installment, and it gives us a glimpse into the aftermath of Sabrina’s (Kiernan Shipka) dark baptism. (Disclaimer: It’s not good.)
The trailer features Sabrina walking down the hallway of Baxter High School while holding a can of gasoline. She pours the liquid on the school logo, lights a match and drops it on the ground.
Cut to Sabrina in the student-filled hallway in what appears to be a flashback. “Something is different about Sabrina,” Aunt Hilda (Lucy Davis) says, referring to the teen’s dark baptism in part one.
“I feel like I’ve been walking down this darker path…but maybe it’s not so bad,” Sabrina says while a montage plays in the background, featuring her casting spells and snapping people’s necks.
You see, Sabrina signing the Book of the Beast was “uncharted territory,” which means she’ll need to find a balance between her old and new life, all while learning to cope with her powers.
Sounds easy…right? Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part Two will hit Netflix on April 5.
