Charlize Theron's Bowl Cut Is Back—& We Almost Forgot How Much We Love it

Charlize Theron swapped her usual blonde locks for a bolder look—a dark bowl cut. But it was only temporary.

Earlier this week, the Bombshell actress showed off her chic cropped hairstyle (which we haven’t seen in two years) in a video on Instagram, and captioned the clip, “#F9,” referencing the upcoming release of her new film, Fast & Furious 9.

In the action franchise, the 45-year-old actress stars as Cipher, the criminal mastermind who previously had long, bright-blonde dreadlocks. However, it seems for the ninth installment, they took her look in a different direction.

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the bowl cut. In fact, Theron and her stylist, Adir Abergel, previously gave sneak peeks of the look when she was filming the flick back in 2019.

Abergel posted about the transformation on Instagram and said he was inspired by the iconic black-and-white photos of Linda Evangelista shot by the world-famous photographer Peter Lindbergh.

We’re not going to lie, we love the cut now as much as we did when we saw it the first time. And we clearly weren’t the only ones, considering the comments section of the post was filled with compliments. One follower wrote, “That bowl cut... gurl yasss!!!” while another added, “Rockin the bowl cut we all wish we could.” Our sentiments exactly.

Lucky for us, we only have to wait until May 28, 2021, to see the new ‘do on the big screen. AKA, we have plenty of time to call our stylist.
