Charlize Theron treated her fans to a rare childhood pic from South Africa and she legit looks exactly the same.
Okay, well, not exactly, but it's safe to say that her face hasn't changed a bit. The South African actress shared a never-before-seen throwback pic on Instagram along with a powerful message for International Day of the Girl.
Theron wrote, "Today is the #DayoftheGirl. Tag just one friend to share their SUPPOSED TO / CHOSE TO story. Because when a girl finds her power to make different choices that change her life, it inspires others to do so too. That’s #TheGirlEffect."
She continued, "I was SUPPOSED TO be financially dependent. I CHOSE TO financially independent. I challenge @chelseahandler!"
The post includes two photos, starting with a snap of a much younger Theron, who appears to be in school uniform while sitting near an open field. Then, in the second photo, we see the 45-year-old star in the present-day, looking fully glammed up during her photoshoot with Vogue. Even with the stylish haircut and makeup, it's hard to miss the uncanny resemblance to her vintage photo (complete with frizzy ponytail).
The pic comes about two weeks after Theron gave fans a rare look at her two daughters on Instagram. To celebrate National Daughters Day, she shared never-before-seen photos of her children and wrote, "My heart belongs to these two beautiful powerhouses. I will never be the same. Happy #NationalDaughtersDay [heart emoji]."
