Channing Tatum has debuted a brand-new haircut and it's now taking us back to his Step Up days.
On Instagram, the 40-year-old actor revealed his buzzcut after he finished shooting his latest film, Dog. In the caption, he wrote, "There is nothing, and I mean nothing, as good as finishing the hardest job of my life. And then shaving my head and letting the character go."
He continued, "It’s a bit of a ritual. A freeing of myself. And being free is always my highest intention. And I’m about to be sooooo freee!!! I have so much love in my heart for everyone that was on this journey with me. @dogthefilm and so much love for the people out there in the world that need love right now. Sending it up for all.....right.....now. #freeandjoyful."
The post, which has already garnered more than 700,000 likes, was met with words of encouragement from several fans. One follower wrote, "Beautiful expression. Amazing and sweet to hear your thoughts out loud. Looking forward to seeing your film, I'm happy for you and congratulations on all your hard work and dedication." Another fan added, "So excited for you! Can’t wait to see your hard work and phenomenal talent on screen again!" Same.
Tatum is making his directorial debut and starring as Briggs in the upcoming comedy film, which is set to release in February of 2021. Other cast members include Aqueela Zoll, Ronnie Gene, Patricia Isaac and Skyler Joy.
