Céline Dion Just Thanked Adele & Her Message Is a Duet Waiting to Happen
We wouldn’t be surprised if Céline Dion dedicated “Because You Loved Me” to Adele after the singer’s latest confession.
Dion, who recently canceled several tour dates “on doctor’s orders,” took to Instagram today to thank Adele for her supporting her when she needed it most. The 49-year-old posted a photo of the iconic duo from Dion’s concert on January 12.
She captioned the post, “I had a pretty rough time during the last couple of weeks…a lot of people have been hit with cold and flu bugs…but I’m doing much better now. Wasn’t able to do all my shows, but was thrilled that Adele came to one of them I love her so much!!”
Earlier this month, Dion shared an emotional post on Facebook about her decision to cancel seven Las Vegas show dates due to health issues. The “I’m Alive” singer’s residency is scheduled to resume on March 27.
The good news is Adele had a bloody good time at Dion’s concert. She even shared a photo on Instagram of the merch she scored at the show with a sweet message for Queen Céline.
She wrote, “Queen Celine! What a show, an absolute highlight of my life, thank you so much for the attention to your crowd and insane humor. Happy new year lady x.”
We could all really use someone like you, Adele.
