Céline Dion Shares Never-Before-Seen Photos in Honor of 50th Birthday
These never-before-seen photos of Céline Dion are proof that she has always been a goddess (oversize glasses and all).
In honor of Dion’s 50th birthday on March 29, her team released a Facebook video with rare photos from the singer’s childhood and personal life, and it’s all coming back to us now.
The caption reads, “HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY CÉLINE! From the very first song written with her Mom and brother, we take a look back at some of the precious moments in Céline’s personal and professional life. Make sure you comment below to wish Céline a Happy Birthday! — Team Céline.”
The video features a slideshow with rare family photos, offering fans a glimpse into the singer’s childhood; early career; relationship with her late husband, Réne Angélil; and touching mommy moments with her three sons, René-Charles (17) and twins Nelson and Eddy (7). The best part? It’s set to a mashup of Dion’s most iconic songs, including “I Drove All Night,” “Where Does My Heart Beat Now” and “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now.”
Sure, baby Céline rocking an adorable pair of glasses is pretty much the baby photo we never knew we needed, but we can’t deny that she rocks the hell out of that pink frilly dress.
Although Dion was planning to celebrate her 50th birthday with a concert in Las Vegas, she recently canceled several weeks of performances due to a surgical procedure on her ear, which affects her ability to sing.
The good news is the singer appears to be doing much better, considering she recently took to Instagram to thank fans for the birthday wishes.
Happy 50th, Queen Céline.
