Celebrities are finding new and creative ways to interact with fans while supporting charitable endeavors.
Over the last few weeks, major stars like Kevin Hart, Justin Bieber and Ciara began participating in something called the All-In Challenge. So, what exactly is this challenge? Basically, it's a way to fundraise money for those affected by the current coronavirus pandemic by auctioning off celebrity experiences. Created by Fanatics founder Michael Rubin, alongside Alan Tisch and Gary Vaynerchuk, all of the proceeds (over $7 million already) go to nonprofit organizations that combat food insecurity, such as Feeding America, Meals On Wheels, World Central Kitchen and No Kid Hungry, to name a few.
Here’s how it works. Celebrities nominate each other on social media to take part in the challenge. Then, those celebrities offer fans the chance to bid on a prize like one of their possessions or an in-person experience, such as a movie role or a double date (we’re serious).
Read on for a list of celebs who have already participated.
