Candace Cameron Bure and Lacey Chabert are confirmed to appear in their seventh—we repeat, seventh—Hallmark movies, and it’s, like, so fetch.
The network recently announced that Bure will take on the lead role in the TV adaptation of Beth Harbison’s 2016 novel, A Shoe Addict’s Christmas. Chabert will star in another book-to-film adaptation called Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe, which is based on Melissa de la Cruz’s 2017 novel. This will be the seventh Hallmark movie for both actresses, so yeah, it’s a pretty big deal.
A Shoe Addict’s Christmas will follow a real-life Grinch, Noelle (Bure), who traps herself in a department store on Christmas Eve. Go figure. While there, she meets a guardian angel who introduces her to a series of “ghosts” of Christmases past, present and future. Classic Hallmark.
As for Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe, the film will focus on Darcy Fitzwilliam (Chabert), a glamorous woman who is too focused on dating to care about the holidays. That all changes when her mother falls ill, forcing her to return home.
Seventh time’s a charm. (Just go with it.)
