Camila Parker Bowles Just Traded Her Skirts & Wide-Leg Pants for a Pair of Blue Skinny Jeans

Camilla Parker Bowles just did something we haven’t done in weeks—put on a pair of jeans. Ah, to be so ambitious.

Yesterday, the Duchess of Cornwall was joined by her husband Prince Charles outside of their home in Birkhall to honor healthcare workers who are on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. The duchess and the Duke of Wales looked casual-chic as they happily took part in the “clap for carers” initiative.

For the occasion, Camilla rocked a pair of blue jeans blue skinny jeans, a button-up shirt and a black blazer, while Charles looked dapper (as always) in some khakis and a beige suit jacket.

Clarence House posted the video (which gets off to a bit of an awkward start—just check out Camilla's face) on the couple's social media channels on Thursday, captioning the post, “The Duke and Duchess of Rothesay have joined the nation once again to show their continued appreciation and support for all the NHS staff and other key workers on the frontline of the battle against coronavirus. Thank you!”

The duchess’s outfit choice does come as a bit of a surprise, considering she’s always dressed professionally, even while working from her home office. Fans were quick to point out the ensemble in the comments section, with one writing, “I have always seen Camilla dressed up but she looks so cute in blue jeans. I’m sure she is more comfortable as well.” First jeans, then what? Loungewear like the rest of us?! It's a slippery slope, Camilla...

These two weren’t the only ones applauding healthcare workers last night. The whole Cambridge clan clapped during a rare TV appearance on BBC’s Big Night In special. And did we mention, they were in matching blue outfits?

Let’s keep this "royals in blue jeans" thing going. Your move, Queen Elizabeth.
