We Dare You To Find Something More Magical than Bonnie Tyler Singing ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’ During Mondays Eclipse

Once upon a time the year was 1983 and nothing could make you feel more alive than screaming singing along to the cassette tape single of Bonnie Tyler's “Total Eclipse of the Heart.” Well, it's time to awaken your inner perm because Tyler is performing her hit song live aboard a cruise ship on August 21—the day of the total solar eclipse.

According to Time, Tyler and other umbraphiles (we’ll pause while you look it up. Hint: they could totally have their own reality show) will take to the high seas on Royal Caribbean’s Total Eclipse Cruise. The path of the ocean liner will directly coincide with that of the solar eclipse. Just as the natural phenomenon is about to begin, the songstress will dive into an updated version of her hit ballad timed perfectly to crescendo along with the eclipse. *Mic drop*

Tyler gushed to Time, ”It’s going to be so exciting. It doesn't happen very often, does it?" No, no it does not, Bonnie.

Forever’s gonna start August 21 be there...or pretend you're busy washing your hair.
