Blue Ivy Singing 'Circle of Life' from 'The Lion King' Has Us Wondering if She Makes a Cameo in the New Movie

Timon and Pumbaa may have "Hakuna Matata" down pat, but Blue Ivy seems ready to hit the big screen as well.

The 7-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z showed off her singing—well, lip syncing—skills in a new video from the weekend, when Queen Bey and Blue attended Tina Knowles-Lawson's Wearable Art Gala with the theme of "A Journey to the Pride Lands."

In the Instagram slideshow below, Blue Ivy lip syncs to the movie's hit theme song "Circle of Life" as she shows off her Lion King-inspired outfit (just scroll right).

And Blue Ivy wasn't the only one with Lion King fever. In honor of Disney's new CGI-filled reboot (out July 19) and her starring role as the voice of Nala, Beyoncé donned a feathery and sparkly gold caped number featuring the face of a lion on the chest.

The catsuit (get it?), covered in gold sequins and black and gold feathers that formed the lion's mane, was designed by Georges Hobeika.

The gala, which is an annual event held by Knowles-Lawson and her husband, Richard Lawson, benefits their nonprofit family-founded WACO Theater Center, which hosts mentorship programs and cultural events. This year's gala was sponsored by Disney, so the theme was all but a shoo-in.

Does this lip-sync video mark the debut of Blue Ivy following in her parents' superstar performer footsteps? Hey, you gotta start somewhere (and in a cellphone video with your mom Beyoncé sounds like a decent place to us...).
