At the ripe age of six years old, Blue Ivy Carter is already on her way to becoming the “It girl” of her generation. (No offense, North West.)
The eldest daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z is working with Manuel A. Mendez, a personal stylist, to ensure she doesn’t go unnoticed on the red carpet, according to WWD. That’s right, Mendez is the mastermind behind Blue’s recent high-fashion ensembles, including her snazzy white tuxedo at the 2018 Grammy Awards and her gold dress and headpiece look at the Wearable Art Gala.
While it’s unclear how long he’s been styling the fashion prodigy, we do know Mendez is a longtime acquaintance of the family, considering he’s also Beyoncé’s personal assistant and an employee of her company, Parkwood Entertainment.
This isn’t the first time Blue Ivy proved to be ahead of her time. Last month, she casually bid $19,000 during an art auction at the Wearable Art Gala, so we can’t say we’re surprised the 6-year-old is already receiving fashion guidance from the best of the best.
And the question remains: Is Mendez also styling twins Sir and Rumi? All signs point to…eventually. They are the spawn of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, after all.
