The ‘Big Little Lies’ Cast Wants a Season 2 Just As Badly As We Do
Since the shocking Big Little Lies finale in April, we’ve been hoping, waiting and wishing for a second season. Apparently, Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and Zoë Kravitz want one, too!
The hot mamas of Monterey hit the red carpet for the 69th Annual Primetime Emmys on Sunday evening and individually expressed that they, too, want more of BLL’s juicy drama and amazing wardrobes. (How could they not?) Here’s what each leading lady said about wanting a season two of BLL.
“It feels unfair that we got to do this. We had the best time. We’re all really good friends. Thank you for wanting us back!” Duh, Madeline Martha Mackenzie. Duh.
“We want to do it,” Kidman revealed on the red carpet. “We love these women. It’s just trying to move pieces.”
“It’s an incredible blessing that these ladies got together and wanted to make this. I’m beyond grateful. We know how rare it is for a tribe of women being able to get together and make art and build a family.” Bless, Laura.
Woodley confirmed that the cast is into the idea of a season two “100 percent.” Yaasss, Jane!
“The material has to be there,” Kravitz said, matter-of-factly.
