Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons & Kunal Nayyar Say Goodbye to ‘The Big Bang Theory’ in Emotional Posts
Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Kunal Nayyar are ready to go out with a bang.
Parsons, who plays Sheldon on the series and is reportedly responsible for the show coming to its end, kicked things off with a farewell so long that it simply didn’t fit as a caption.
“It is hard (nearly impossible, actually) to really accept that this is a picture of the first of the final 24 episodes we will shoot for The Big Bang Theory,” he began. “I feel very fortunate that we have another 23 episodes to shoot this season because I am hopeful that with each and every one, my level of REALLY accepting this fact will sink in.”
Parsons went on to express his “intense gratitude” for the show’s long and successful run and thanked the viewers, crew, writers and his fellow castmates, calling them all his “playmates.”
Nayyar shared the same behind-the-scenes photo and wrote a message of appreciation to Big Bang Theory fans.
He captioned the snap, “There are no words in any language that can describe what my heart wants to say…The love that I feel for all of you is boundless. Without you the fans there would be no us. Tonight I sleep with a prayer of gratitude on my lips. This isn’t goodbye…yet…still 23 eps to shoot!.”
And finally, Cuoco opened up about feeling heartbroken about the show’s impending end and admitted she’s “drowning in tears.”
“This ride has been a dream come true and as life changing as it gets. No matter when it was going to end, my heart would have always been broken in two,” the newly married actress wrote.
She went on to thank all of the cast and crew for helping to make the show what it is and wrote, “Drowning in tears, we promise to bring you the best season yet.… We are goin out with a bang.”
Damn, we hate goodbyes.
