Beyoncé Makes Her Nala Voice Debut in the Newest ‘Lion King’ Teaser

Hear Bey roar!

Disney just debuted a new snippet from their upcoming "live-action" Lion King remake, out on July 19, and it's the first time audiences get to hear Beyoncé as Nala.

In the short teaser, posted to Queen Bey's YouTube channel, Nala tells Simba (Donald Glover) that he needs to take his place as King of the Pride Lands.

"We need you," she says. "Come home."

But this isn't the only Beyoncé/Lion King news this week. Over the weekend at her mother Tina Knowles-Lawson's Wearable Art Gala event, the Flawless singer donned a feathery and sparkly gold caped number featuring the face of a lion on the chest. The catsuit, covered in gold sequins and black and gold feathers that formed the lion's mane, was designed by Georges Hobeika.

The mom of three also posted a video of her and Jay-Z's 7-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy, lip-syncing "Circle of Life" from the original Disney movie…and does she make a cameo? Because she nails that part.

Yep, it's official: We are SO excited to see more clips of Beyoncé as Nala (and Blue's all-out support) leading up to the movie release.
