Video Proof Even Beyoncé Gets Annoyed with Her Mom Sometimes

Like any of us when our moms pay us grandiose compliments, Beyoncé is immediately annoyed (but still, to her credit, very polite). “Mama that’s really annoying… I mean very annoying,” Beyoncé quips.

Knowles responds by laughing and continuing to coo, “Au natural, as Neal would say.” She’s of course referencing Neal Farinah, Beyoncé’s hairstylist.

On this occasion, however, Knowles was stepping in as her daughter’s hairstylist. She captioned her original post, “I was trimming my baby’s hair today and I am mocking Neal! Getting on her nerves! Being really annoying.”

The video ends with Bey saying, “Mom,” in the voice we’ve all used with our parents when they’re embarrassing us.

To be fair, Beyoncé’s waist-length hair is absolutely stunning and, as we now know thanks to Knowles, all natural. The warm brown hue and honey highlights perfectly complement her.

While we try and grow our hair out to the same length, might we suggest someone remix Knowles saying “au naturale” into Yoncé’s song “Flawless?” We’d listen on repeat.
