The Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year ceremony is an event filled with some of the finest athletes in the world, so there’s really only one person who could possibly excite an already impressive guest list: Beyoncé.

The musical genius/fashion icon/all-around queen surprised the crowd by taking the stage to present the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award to Colin Kaepernick in recognition of his continuing efforts to protest racial injustices.

The Ali Award is presented each year to honor those who embody the ideals of sportsmanship, leadership and philanthropy as vehicles for changing the world. Needless to say, Kaepernick was pretty over the moon, not only for receiving the title but also for having such an influential powerhouse praise his activism.

After all, receiving an award from Sports Illustrated is pretty damn cool, but having that award handed to you by the one and only Queen B? Greatest. Accomplishment. Ever.
