The 2019 Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album Goes to ‘Sweetener’ by Ariana Grande

First it was Adele. Then it was Ed Sheeran. And now, another talented musician is the proud owner of a highly coveted award.

The 61st annual Grammys took place tonight, and Ariana Grande took home the award for Best Pop Vocal Album for Sweetener (“God Is a Woman,” “No Tears Left to Cry,” “Everytime”).

The artist was up against Shawn Mendes by Shawn Mendes, Beautiful Trauma by Pink, Reputation by Taylor Swift, Camila by Camila Cabello and Meaning of Life by Kelly Clarkson.

Grande is joining a slew of other Best Pop Vocal Album winners, including Divide by Ed Sheeran, 25 and 21 by Adele, 1989 by Taylor Swift, In the Lonely Hour by Sam Smith, Unorthodox Jukebox by Bruno Mars, Stronger by Kelly Clarkson, The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga and The E.N.D. by The Black Eyed Peas.
