Madison’s Mom Has Zero Time for Peter Weber’s Antics in Applause-Worthy ‘Bachelor’ Deleted Scene

*Warning: Spoilers ahead*

Our biggest takeaway from Peter Weber’s series of hometown dates in season 24 of The Bachelor? No, it’s not that Victoria F. could definitely improve upon her communication skills or that Weber isn’t so great at basketball. Actually, it’s don’t mess with Madison’s mom.

When the hometown dates episode aired earlier this week, it was Hannah Ann and Madison’s dads who seemed to be most skeptical of the 28-year-old pilot’s intentions. But, in a just-released deleted scene, Madison’s mom is the real force to be reckoned with. Just watch.

Mama bear started things off by asking Weber, “Can you tell me why Madison is still in this—very specifically?”

Yep, she came at him with Barbara Walters-style thoughtful questions, but Weber was not as prepared. He noted how fun, competitive and tough Madison is, adding that he can “100 percent see a life with her.”

That was not enough for Madison’s mom, who retorted, “What does that life look like?” Out of his element, Weber responded that it’d be “fun.” (Interesting that he gave Kelley such grief for saying she was on The Bachelor to have “fun,” but he feels like it’s a sufficient reason to build a life with someone.) The interrogation didn’t stop there. She went on to ask Weber how he feels about her daughter’s conviction to her faith and whether he has any reservations about their relationship.

And when he told Madison’s mom that he’s falling in love with her, she looked less than stoked.

After hesitating, she admitted, “I want to trust you. I want to trust that what you’re telling me is real,” but the look on her face was completely skeptical.

The bottom line? Madison’s mom means business.
