Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Debut Baby Sussex on Instagram

Moments after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle introduced their first child, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, to the world, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made it Instagram official.

Following the debut of Baby Sussex, the new parents posted a slideshow on Instagram celebrating the momentous occasion.

The first pic shows Prince Harry and Markle exiting The Portland Hospital in London, followed by two black-and-white photos—the first one displays the new parents admiring the newborn, while the second features the new family of three walking together.

The caption read, “Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family. They are so incredibly grateful for the warm wishes and support they’ve received from everyone around the world, since welcoming their son two days ago.”

During the photo op, Markle chatted with reporters, revealing how much they’re enjoying their first few days of parenthood. “It’s magic, it’s pretty amazing,” she said. “I have the two best guys in the world, so I’m really happy.”

Prince Harry also chimed in and confirmed his wife’s statement, adding, “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, three days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.”

Earlier this week, Buckingham Palace announced that the couple welcomed a healthy baby boy. The palace also revealed that members of the royal family—including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Camilla Parker Bowles, Prince William, Kate Middleton and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland—were all informed of the news.
