Awkwafina is teaming up with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart for the highly anticipated Jumanji sequel.
The Crazy Rich Asians star, 29, is in final negotiations to appear in the sequel to Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Although we don’t know much about Awkwafina’s involvement, a source described her role as “key” and “significant.”
The untitled movie will reunite the original cast, including Johnson, Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. Jake Kasdan will also return to direct the film.
