This brand-new study proves that weddings are getting pricier by the day, so there goes our savings.
According to the 2018 American Wedding Study conducted by Brides.com, couples spent an average of $44,000 on their nuptials. (The results were accumulated by surveying more than 800 brides and brides-to-be.)
The news might be a surprise to wedding crashers aficionados, considering it’s a $17,000 increase from last year’s statistics, which estimated an average cost of $27,000.
Guess eloping doesn’t sound too bad after all.
