Archie Looks Just Like Prince Harry (But Has Meghan’s Style) in Gorgeous New Family Photo
It was a good morning for royal followers, as we were treated to a brand-new family photo from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The gorgeous shot, which is featured on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's Christmas card, was our first glimpse of baby Lilibet (and we were quite excited about it). But it was also a rare shot of her older brother, Archie.
The last time we saw Archie was back in November, when Markle visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Archie gets very excited to see his dogs and to see his chickens also in there,” the duchess said as a photo flashed on screen, showing the 2-year-old holding a basket and presumably feeding the visible chickens.
Archie (with his back turned) had clearly grown so much, and he was already beginning to look like his dad. But now, thanks to the family's Christmas card, we can see even more clearly how much he looks like Prince Harry. “This year, 2021, we welcomed our daughter, Lilibet, to the world. Archie made us a 'Mama' and a 'Papa,' and Lili made us a family,” the pair said.
The royal toddler appears to have the exact same shaggy red hair and even the same smile as his father. But it's clear that he got his fashion sense from his mother.
In the photo, which was shared on IG by the photographer who expertly snapped it, Alexi Lubomirski, Archie wears a white button-down and a pair of blue jeans, which is a combo we've definitely seen Markle wear in the past. The duchess, who is always a fan of the sensible button-down, has clearly passed on her fashion sensibilities to her son. His outfit is made even better by the fact that he's matching with his sister, who dons a white, frilly dress.
Instagram followers loved the opportunity to see the duke and duchess's kids, like one person who said, “Omg how beautiful.” Another commented, “So cute!!!!! Archie is Harry’s twin that red hair!!!”
We can't wait to see who Lili looks like as she gets older.
