Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s Archewell Website Just Went Live—& Royal Fans Are Freaking Out

It’s finally here! (And yes, we’re talking about the highly anticipated Archewell website.)

Earlier today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle launched an online destination for their new non-profit organization. Naturally, royal (and non-royal) fans are already freaking out on Twitter. The Archewell website is fairly simple, featuring a basic homepage that encourages visitors to provide their email address, so they can receive updates about the charity.

The website also includes a definition for the term “Archewell,” which was chosen by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. According to the page, “Arche” is derived from the “Greek word meaning ‘source of action.’” On the other hand, “Well” means “a plentiful source or supply; a place we go to dig deep.”

We first learned about Archewell earlier this year when the royal couple filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent Trademark Office asking for exclusive rights. The patent covers all types of digital content and merchandise, including “tops, bottoms, shirts, skirts, dresses, pants, jeans, shorts, sweaters, jackets, socks, loungewear, rainwear, footwear [and] headwear.”

Prince Harry and Markle previously discussed their new venture in a statement, which read: “We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon.”

BRB, refreshing the Archewell website for updates. (You know, just in case.)
