Depending on how tech nerdy you are, you might know that Apple had a huge tenth-anniversary iPhone event yesterday. CEO Tim Cook introduced not one but two new phones and it was exciting (again, depending on how tech nerdy you are).
But with a hefty $999 price tag for the iPhone X, our excitement was quickly overshadowed by sorrow for our bank account. Then, just when we were starting to consider selling our blood for a new phone, Apple went and cut the prices on a number of older models (meaning the iPhone SE, the 6s and 6s Plus and the 7 and 7 Plus).
No, these aren’t the brand-new ones with all-glass screens and nonexistent home buttons, but hey, if we can score $100 off a perfectly good iPhone 7 Plus (it’s now $669 instead of $779), we’re not doing too shabby.
Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a phone with a camera that makes you look approximately 37 percent more attractive.
