Amy Schumer is taking this whole mom thing really seriously, especially when it comes to teaching her son, Gene, how to walk.
Yesterday, the I Feel Pretty star, 38, shared a candid video on her personal Instagram account, featuring her and her husband, Chris Fischer, coaching their 10-month-old son through his first steps.
In the clip, Fischer picks Gene up and puts some distance between himself and Schumer. He slowly walks toward the comedian, allowing little Gene to guide the way with his baby steps.
When Fischer lets him go solo, Gene swiftly falls to his knees before getting back up again. “A” for effort, in our humble opinion.
Schumer simply captioned the post, “Nailed it.”
The couple tied the knot in February 2018 at a private mansion in Malibu, California. A few months later, Schumer confirmed that she and Fischer were expecting their first child by photoshopping their faces onto the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In May 2019, the actress welcomed a baby Taurus named Gene.
It’s only a matter of time before Schumer is chasing Gene instead of coaching him.
