The Trailer for Amy Poehler & Nick Offerman’s New Series ‘Making It’ Is So Bizarre It’s Brilliant
Grab your glue guns, because Leslie Knope and Ron Swanson are (re)teaming up for an all-new series about—wait for it—competitive crafting.
NBC just dropped a new trailer for Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman’s unscripted reality competition show, Making It (formerly titled The Handmade Project), and it is nowhere near what we expected.
In the clip, Poehler and Offerman introduce us to Making It, which will feature skilled artisans completing a variety of projects in the hopes of being crowned Master Maker. Working with everything from fabrics to wood and metal, the contestants will create masterpieces out of unexpected materials and present them to an esteemed panel of judges, including Barneys creative ambassador Simon Doonan and Etsy trend expert Dayna Isom Johnson.
Oh, how we’ve missed those two. Making It premieres on Tuesday, July 31, on NBC.
