We were pretty excited when Amazon recently announced its new one-hour wine delivery service for Prime members. It’s impossible to top instant wine, right?
Welp, never say never, because Amazon Prime has us all starry-eyed (again). The company just teamed up with Olo, a New York-based food delivery service that has more than 200 restaurant partners across the country…like Shake Shack and Chipotle (and Cold Stone Creamery and Jamba Juice and Five Guys and Sweetgreen). Basically, all of our favorite chains.
Amazon Restaurants actually already offers some food delivery in NYC and Seattle. But this partnership probably means we’ll be seeing it on a more national scale. In other words, we’ll never have to get up from the couch again. Amazon, you're too good to us. Now if you could just make a personal trainer magically appear in our house and teach us how to work off three burgers, fries and a burrito bowl, we'd be set.
