Dust Off Your Résumé: Amazon Has More Than 50,000 Job Openings Right Now
Calling all people who think working for Jeff Bezos sounds like a good idea: Amazon just announced more than 50,000 job openings at 12 warehouses and sorting centers across the country.
Dubbed Amazon Jobs Day, the hiring spree is part of the company's goal to hire 100,000 full-time workers by June 2018. It also happens to coincide with back-to-school, one of the most retail-heavy times of year. (And don't get us started on how holiday shopping begins before summer even really ends.)
On August 2 the company will be opening its doors to applicants looking for both full-time and part-time work with the brand, and even has some supporting and managerial positions available as well.
So where are these jobs? We're glad you asked: Baltimore, MD; Chattanooga, TN; Etna, OH; Fall River, MA; Hebron, KY; Kenosha, WI; Kent, WA; Robbinsville, NJ; Romeoville, IL; Whitestown, IN; Buffalo, NY; and Oklahoma City, OK.
