We are seeking an Account Manager for the New York City office. The main objective of this position is to manage the ad campaign lifecycle, including optimization, reporting and needed improvements to the campaign to deliver results.  The Account Manager partners with the sales, design, editorial, product and marketing teams to manage the technical issues and performance goals surrounding campaigns.  He or she drives results in order to support customer retention.  The Account Manager is responsible for building revenue through superior campaign management and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to PureWow’s customer partnerships and campaigns
  • Work in conjunction with sales to gain a clear understanding of clients’ goals and objectives pre-campaign launch.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Frequently communicate with client providing them with relevant updates, timelines, assets for approval and reporting. Ultimately providing best in class customer service and increasing repeat business.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Identify growth opportunities and collaborate with the various business units listed above to ensure growth attainment
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Utilize internal and external reporting systems to analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities ensuring optimum campaign success.
  • Collaborate with Product Director and SVP of Sales to contribute to the ongoing development of advertising-based products.
  • Effectively communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 1-3 years account management, customer service or sales experience.
  • Proven record of success in a goal oriented, highly accountable environment.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook.  CRM tool experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of digital media platforms (DFP, Google Analytics, etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Ad Operations & Account Management team in day-to-day campaign maintenance to consistently deliver quality results to clients
  • Act as main point of contact with clients to manage and organize delivery of all assets & tags against strict deadlines
  • Manage trafficking and ad serving vendor (Operative) to ensure all ad campaigns are trafficked and optimized in a timely manner
  • Perform QA and capture screenshots for all campaigns that go live
  • Ensure smooth delivery of campaigns by maintaining and distributing pacing reports
  • Develop optimization strategies on a campaign-by-campaign basis to maximize campaign performance throughout the flight

  • Collaborate with Product Director to ensure we are making intelligent and scalable product decisions

Qualifications and Expectations:

  • 6+ years experience
  • Team Lead, Management or Mentoring experience
  • Build maintainable, well-tested, scalable code
  • Expert level JavaScript knowledge
  • Expert level FrontEnd Web Development Knowledge
  • Experience with at least one JavaScript framework (ie. React, Angular, Backbone, Ember)
  • Knowledge of Web Development best practices
  • Very good communication and people skills
  • MUST BE NICE PERSON

Nice to Have Experience:

  • ReactJS Experience
  • Ad Development Experience
  • Agile Development Experience (Scrum, JIRA, etc.)
  • Java (particularly with Spring Framework)
  • Skillful in database design and management
  • Experience with email sending & deliverability
  • Continuous Integration Experience
  • Test Framework Experience (Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor, etc.)
