smeg rose gold toaster

As if we didn't already have a shiny, mid-century-inspired Smeg toaster on our list of dream kitchen appliances, the brand's newest launch just stole our hearts and our wallets.

Exclusive to Williams-Sonoma and available in limited quantities (of course), the rose gold two-slice toaster will infuse every slice of pumpernickel, whole wheat and rye with a little bit of luxury.

The toaster features chrome accents to offset the warm polished finish; two extra-wide slots that fit both bread and bagels (!); six browning levels; a backlit knob with four functions; self-centering racks to hold your breakfast upright; and a removable stainless-steel crumb tray for easy cleaning.

Of course, it retails for $200, which is about ten times as much as our current toaster is worth…but we can dream, right?

We never thought we'd have a crush on a toaster, but here we are.
