A 5-Second Trick to Freshen Your Garbage Disposal
Twenty20

Sure, dinner smelled delicious when you made it. Not so much the morning after, when the scent of leftovers is still trapped and wafting up from your kitchen sink. Here, an easy way to banish the bad odor in your garbage disposal—and quick.

What you need: A lemon, tap water and a knife or peeler.

What you do: Use your knife or peeler to strip off the lemon rind, then drop it down your disposal, followed by some tap water. Run the disposal for a few seconds and voilà! Any icky odor will be replaced by a totally lovely citrus scent.

Yay for minimal effort. And a kitchen that smells squeaky clean.
